GR2 Engineering has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the U.S.-Iraq Business Council Delegation’s recent visit to Baghdad (April 9, 2025).

We are pleased to announce that GR2 Engineering has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kufan Group, a leading engineering, construction, ICT, and oilfield services company headquartered in Baghdad. 

Under the MOU, the GR2-Kufan EPC partnership will focus on Iraq’s modular methane abatement and flare reduction monetization projects towards the country’s “Zero Flaring” ambition by 2030.

The partnership will also work on upstream oil and gas facilities, downstream refineries, and petrochemical plants’ engineering design, procurement, and construction, including facility modernization and optimization projects.
